Yeah yeah yeah.

I know this particular video/song has been out on the charts and the radio for a while, but i thought I'd just post it up because its SO CATCHY. almost annoying so.

it just makes me wanna turn it up loud, shut the door and jump on my bed and pretend I'm in a music video.

*drool* at brown's moves and LOL at the pink blazer at 4:02

hustle, hustle, hustle...

Dear all,

I've hidden myself away in the endless beaches and scorching suns of Wollongong for the time being and i thought i would contribute to my blog whilst my loving aunty and cousin cook dinner :D

Upon picking up an edition of frankie, i discovered the British experimental folk band Tunng

I didnt have the time to listen to their various albums but the song hustle just made me smile :D If this song doesnt immediately made you sway, there is something seriously wrong with you.

Entertain yourself guessing all the instruments :D kudos to you if you get them all right. message me what you think!

enjoy

Jon Mclaughlin

For those of you who don't know this hot and sexy beast, his name is Jon Mclaughlin. His music is a mixture of swingalicious jazz, smooth piano riffs and Jon's chocolate velvety voice. :D You might know him or his song , So Close from that movie with McDreamy from Grey's Anatomy (Patrick Dempsey) and Amy Adams, who i don't really know except from this movie which btw. is called Ella Enchanted. (dont watch it)

I find his lyrics to be 'real' in some cheesy way and can be related to in some way. (for instance 'four years' is about school life)

so yeh. enjoy. I know you'll like these songs that i've picked out.

The illustrious Vampire Weekend has just released a new cover of Cheryl Cole's hit single, Fight For This Love. Now, its not great, but to be honest I do prefer this version. Ezra Koenig's vocals however are obviously meant for the obscurities of the indie rock genre, and not the top 40.

But judge for yourself. enjoy.

angus and julia stone

I thought i'd share some of the more 'listener-able' songs off the angus and julia stone albums.

they're not too bad. if you're reading a book or flicking through the newest vogue with the one Miranda Kerr whom all spiffing-jealousy stems from on the cover, and you need your attention. they're beautiful songs.

enjoy.
